Access Audits and Research

It is important to know what you have got and what works or doesn't work before you make any changes. An access audit will review what is currently in place and give recommendations which will be prioritised enabling organisations to make appropriate changes to their buildings, practices and procedures.

What areas need to be reviewed for accessibility?

  • All areas accessible to members of the public - particularly point-of-contact, whether that is personal, phone or electronic.
  • All literature, brochures, production information and advertising material - application forms, staff information and notice boards.
